A TASTE OF PRAGUE...
Prague history is an epic story. Inhabitants of the city have witnessed a declaration of independence, Nazi control, brain washing communism & capitalist democracy. And that was just the 20th century! Today, Prague has a magical feel and is like a history lesson come to life. It's a highly visited Eastern European destination and particularly popular during summer so if you're hoping to avoid the general tourist stampede and seeking to see life through the eyes of the 'locals' then Xmas is the time to be there!
Prague bars & pubs range from trendy shot bars to log fired drinking inns. Modern bars stock a full cellar of Czech & International beers, wines & cocktails, while traditional Prague pubs serve the cheapest beer. Whatever your choice of venue or tipple, you will not be disappointed as Prague's pubs & bars appeal to everyone.
Prague Christmas markets run daily throughout December. A 'winter wonderland' awaits, as locals come to soak up the atmosphere, browse the stalls and enjoy Christmas carols, warm food and mulled wine! A good selection of Christmas stocking fillers can be found in the markets. Products include Czech glass, wooden toys, scented candles, hand-made jewellery, ceramic mugs, hats and scarves, puppets and Christmas tree ornaments. You can also see and taste traditional foods made fresh right in front of you as you wander through the various cobbled streets exploring its nooks & crannies.
