There are 3 different types of Fez Bus Hop-on Hop-off passes available to choose from:

HERE'S THE DEAL!

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

• Your pass is valid all season (1 July to 8 October) but you can only do each sector once and you are not able to use your pass again for this part of the circuit.
  
• You don't have to start in Istanbul; you can start anywhere you like around the circuit. Just let us know where you want to commence your travel and we'll be there to pick you up (as long as it coincides with our schedule).
  
• Buses depart each destination from the designated pick up point, every 2nd day in an anti-clockwise direction from Istanbul (the buses only travel in one direction). All departure points and times are listed in the timetable and can be viewed on our journey planner

• When you stop at a designated overnight stop (e.g. Gallipoli) you can depart with the same bus to do the next sector the following day. If however, you want to stay a longer, then wait for the following bus to come through.

• Remember to check your departure times as well as your departure date. Some of our departure times have been organised to allow you enough time to see the major attractions of the area, without the need to stay for extra nights. For example we arrive in Olympos around 17:30 and our departure from Olympos is not till 13:00 the following day, allowing you the whole morning to experience the beach and it surrounding ruins.

• If you are sailing on a gulet, then consider the gulet departure dates when planning your trip. You may not necessarily be able to depart on your gulet trip the day after you arrive in Fethiye.

• As long as you tell us on the bus, which bus you want to board next - your seat is guaranteed!! If you don't know when you want to be picked up, no problem, you can call our toll-free number and book via the Fez Bus head office. All bookings not made on the Fez Bus however, must be made at least 48 hours beforehand to guarantee a seat. Otherwise your travel on the Fez bus will be on a standby basis and will be dependent upon availability.

• You can complete the full circuit in 9 days but really you should allow at least 2 or 3 weeks to really enjoy your trip, especially if you plan on cruising the Med on a Gulet (traditional handmade Turkish yacht). Please see our Med Dreaming Bolt-On for details 

MAKING CHANGES

Plans do change when you’re travelling and that’s no problem. We’re happy for you to change your dates as many times as you’d like, all that we ask is that you let us know. If you aren’t going to travel on a sector that you’ve booked, just give us 48 hours notice by emailing or calling our Turkey office on a toll free number or telling the tour leader on the bus.  You must let the office know in advance if you will not be travelling on a booked sector or you risk forfeiting that sector.

BOOKING ACCOMMODATION

The Fez Bus is a door to door travel network and nearly all the designated stops in each town are at our specially selected and recommended accommodation points.  We try to find the best value budget accommodation point in each town and our tour leaders can help you book accommodation for you while you’re on the bus. It’s like having an onboard travel agent, they can book anything from hostels to plush 5 star hotels, so you just need to choose the type of accommodation you want and how long you want to stay.

TOUR LEADERS

Our onboard tour leaders know their stuff!  They are there to make sure you have the time of your life and take that extra burden away from you, by helping you out with things like accommodation bookings, as well as helping you plan your trip and any optional tours or activities you may wish to do. Their job is to give practical help and advice and tell you everything that there is to do, your job is to decide how much or how little you want to do along the way.

THE BUS

Sit back and relax – the bus has reclining seats and air conditioning. We use modern non-smoking 15-46 seater buses and because there is always different numbers of people onboard for each sector the bus is almost never full which means there’s plenty of room to stretch out and chair hop! For safety the bus is never left unlocked without a driver and only Fez bus passengers are allowed onboard, so your luggage is completely secure.

• Fully air conditioned, 14-46 seater coaches with onboard PA systems and stereos
• Turkish driver and an English speaking tour leader.
• Onboard travel advice and assistance – tour leaders can help to book your accommodation, tours and activities along the way.
• Troy tour and Pergamum tour (except ANZAC and Silk Trail passes) - entrance fees not included.
• A choice of 28 different places on the Fez Bus circuit where you can hop on and hop off.
