DAY 1: MOSCOW
Welcome to Moscow! Make your way to your hotel located in the city centre. Overnight - Moscow
DAY 2: MOSCOW
Breakfast. You've got two days to enjoy the sights and sounds of Russia's lively capital city. Buy a metro pass to enable you to hop from station to station exploring the city, using Moscow's underground system. Head to Red Square to see beautiful wildly coloured St Basil's Cathedral and to tour the mighty Kremlin. If Lenin's mausoleum is open today, you can pay your respects the grandfather of Communism himself. Overnight - Moscow
DAY 3: MOSCOW
Breakfast. Free day to finish exploring the highlights of Moscow or perhaps do a spot of shopping in the illustrious GUM department store. Tonight make your way to Yaroslavl rail station to board train # 20 express to Beijing. Overnight - train
DAY 4-9: ABOARD THE TRAIN
Settle into life onboard the Trans - Manchurian Express as it plies its way across the Urals and large tracts of Siberia. Via Irkutsk and along the shores of breathtaking Lake Baikal, the train heads east, eventually branching off the main Trans-Siberian line at Tarskaya, 12 km east of Karymskaya (6293 km). DAY 10: BEIJING
Early this morning, the train reaches Beijing, marking the end of your journey and your trip arrangements. Consider, entending your stay to lap up China's best loved sights. Include a visit to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the infamous Emperor's Palace.
