what are the boats like?
Costsaver boats offer ONLY twin bunk cabins (most with wash basin), all with shared bathroom facilities. The ratio of cabins to bathrooms is around 4-5 cabins per 1 bathroom on average. You have the choice of booking below deck or ondeck cabins. The only difference between these cabins is that ondeck cabins have a window/port hole providing daylight and fresh air, whereas the below deck cabins don't.
All boats offer plenty of deck space and room to lounge about and you’ll be in the company of like-minded travellers. Relax as the captain and his support crew look after your needs. An onboard cook prepares breakfast and lunch each day, whilst in the evening; we offer you the chance to explore dining options at our numerous ports of call. Dalmatian food is very good. |
is there A TOUR GUIDE?
There is not a tour guide on our Croatia trip, just a captain and crew, who are happy to cater for all your needs. The cruise offers complete relaxation, it is entirely up to you how you enjoy each port of call, there is no guided sightseeing. Relax or explore? The choice is yours! The boat stays in each port all night so you have the freedom to stay out and party, with no fear of being left behind as long as you're back before sunrise! |

what is the food like onboard?
Aboard the cruise, a continental breakfast and lunch is provided. Continental breakfast comprises of tea or coffee, fruit juice, bread, butter and preserves, plus cold cuts and cheeses.

IS IT OKAY IF I TRAVEL ALONE & will i need to pay a single supplement?
Yes it's fine to travel alone! We have a lot of single travellers on our trips and it's a great way to meet new friends. If we have another single traveller of the same sex on the trip then we will endeavour to put you in the same cabin where we can so no pesky single supplements need apply. If this is not possible then you will need to pay the single supplement but then you have the luxury of your own private cabin! |

DOES GOBUS CHARGE A LOCAL PAYMENT?
No but there is a small supplementary port tax of approximately Euro €16 that you will need to pay upon cruise check in. |

HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BUDGET FOR?
Accommodation is provided on a twin/double basis. Breakfast and lunch is included onboard the cruise, dinners in port will be approx USD $70 for 2 people including drinks. Drinks onboard will vary between USD $1-3 for a bottle of water, coke or beer and take some extra cash for spending whilst in port – there are loads of traditional handicrafts to purchase along the way! |

WHAT SHALL I BRING?
Most international airlines limit you to 20kgs. Take a small soft bag/rucksack with summer clothing, something warmer for the evenings if visiting at the beginning or end of the season where temperatures will be lower in the evening. Swimming gear and comfortable sight-seeing cloths are recommended – it’s no fashion parade but definitely bring your camera and a fun attitude! You will need a fleece or light-weight jacket for the evenings as it can get a bit breezy from time to time – especially in May/Jun and Oct. Lastly, please note that you will need to take your own towel for showering as this will not be provided. |

will i be adequately catered for as a vegetarian?
If you’re an Ovo Lacto Vegetarian, subject to advance advice (on your booking form), we can cater generally towards Vegetarians. By this, we mean that although we don’t specifically cater to Vegetarians, the onboard cook will ensure that a Vegetarian gets more vegetables/foodstuffs suitable for Vegetarians. Please be aware that all ingredients and meal composition will be subject to locally available/sourced foodstuffs. There will not be as much variety as you might perhaps be used to in your own home or favourite restaurant/café back home. With this in mind, there will be no hidden surprises or disappointments for you. |

is there a bar onboard?
A bar operates on board all boats. Prices are in line with those you would pay in port at bars/cafes for beers, wines, basic spirits, mixers, soft drinks and bottled mineral water. Since there is a bar aboard, it is not possible to consume personal supplies of alcohol or beverages not purchased aboard. If you were found to be flouting this rule, you would be asked to consume such personal supplies when ashore. | |
