DAY 1: ST PETERSBURG
Dobro Pozhalovat – welcome! Tonight, meet your travelling companions at our welcome meeting. Your tour leader will recommend some great local bars and restaurants for you to try out. You'll need to become familiar with the local tipple, so why jump straight in feet first and select from the stunning array of vodka's available - Russian style is neat and straight down the hatch! Overnight - St Petersburg.
DAY 2: ST PETERSBURG
You’ve got two full days to take in the highlights of St Pete’s, the jewel in Russia’s imperial crown! This morning there is a walking tour, providing a fabulous introduction to this stunningly grandiose city. Stroll down Nevsky prospect (the main thoroughfare) and see the beautiful Church on Spilled Blood. This afternoon is free for you to explore the treasure-filled Hermitage, which is partly housed in the fabulous Winter Palace - former home of the Tsars. The Hermitage boasts the worlds largest art collection!

DAY 3: ST PETERSBURG
A free day to explore independently or grab your self a 'St Petes city pass' and let us lead the way! The pass includes entrance fees lunch and guiding, with visits to the Peter and Paul Fortress, and the Peter and Paul Cathedral, and also Peterhof Palace. Overnight – St Petersburg
DAY 4: NOVGOROD
This morning we take a public bus to Novgorod, one of Russia’s oldest cities. Enjoy a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the fortified Kremlin and cathedral. Novgorod is famous for its pancakes, so make sure you tuck in! This evening we travel by overnight train to Moscow. Picnic lunch & overnight – Train to Moscow.
DAY 5: MOSCOW
Welcome to Moscow, the city that kept Bond busy! At the legendary Red Square, enjoy a guided walk of Moscow’s city centre, where we’ll view the wildly coloured, turban domed, St Basil’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the Kremlin – Russia’s political power house, with its gold-domed cathedrals and tsar bell. This evening why not test out Moscow’s thriving underground club scene!
DAY 6: MOSCOW
Enjoy a day at leisure checking out the highlights of mighty Moscow. The best way to get around is with a metro pass and be sure to take the circle line to view the opulent marble clad, chandelier lit, underground, it's certainly more impressive than the London tube! Pay your respects to the grandfather of Communism at Lenin’s mausoleum and spare some time to browse around the famous GUM department store. The city offers a host of great galleries, museums, plenty of cafes, shops and bars all within walking distance. Overnight - Moscow.
DAY 7: MOSCOW
Our tour ends this morning and hotel check out is at 12 noon.
