Dear GoBus and team, Following returning home from my long vacation overseas, I spent a total of 6 weeks abroad, but the most exciting time was greatly enjoyed with the GoBus/On the Go team in Egypt. These guys are absolutely fantastic to their clients – team effort is first class with them all… They’re a great team who splendidly welcomes you to Cairo from the time you arrive and until you leave. For instance, I was met at the airport at 0125 hrs in the morning, fast track through customs to the hotel, and then the next morning we were on our way to experience Egypt. This was absolutely fantastic, the whole time with our tour guides was first class, all the way to Jordon these guys were always there for you, when some of us transferred from one country to another, everything thing went without any problems occurring, especially observing difficulties with other travellers etc. When I returned to Cairo I had two extra days to enjoy Cairo, but without any hesitation I was soon on my way to Alexandria, this was something I wanted to do as an extra, but these guys made it all happen without any hassle and it was made affordable for me to do as well. This goes to shows the willingness of these guys in helping you along so that you enjoy your time with them.. Sadly the country standard of living is well below Australian standards, but the acceptance of Australian’s holidaying in Egypt was absolutely tremendous, something well worthwhile experiencing, the whole time spent in Egypt and Jordon also with the concern of loosing one’s own personal belongings, getting food poisoning as well, but during the whole time especially in the midst of their summer heat I went without any medical problems occurring whilst travelling there, since returning to Australia I’ve managed to stay totally free of any stomach viruses and the H1N1 Swine Flu. I consider my vacation was most spectacular for our fantastic group as we all greatly enjoyed our time with this team of great guys and the friendly Egyptians as well... Special thanks and acknowledgement to Ayman Wadaa in Cairo, who met me at the airport and also arranged extra tours at the end of my stay in Cairo, Ayman farewelled me at the airport; this is their dedication to their clients. This is first class service for a budget holiday company. Thanks guys for making this a wonderful holiday for me and the others on my tour. Our guides knowledge of Egyptology was amazing and it was evident that he was very passionate about his country and its history. Kyle Docherty I think Ahmed Saheed is a great credit to GOBUS, he took a mountain of info and somehow compacted it into an understandable processable amount of info, he has inspired me to learn more about Egypt and I feel my tour would not have meant as much without him! Overall a great trip. Ivan Foxcroft Ahmed was an amazing tour guide! He organised and gave us so much information. I learnt so much from him . He is a great asset to GOBUS, and a great person. Jamie Oliver Abs is the best tour guide, I have ever had. He makes you feel excited about learning about Egypt and ancient Egypt all together. The highlight of the journey was the felucca cruise. In particular we felt very confident in the care of Abdul who was unfailingly available caring and very informative - I learned more from him on the subjects than ever before. We have been meaning to write to you for a while ( we returned in October) to tell you how amazing the trip was. Everything was excellent. We went on the GoBus 9 day Egyptian Express. Our guide Abdoal was fantastic; he ensured we had the most amazing time. The tour was well organised, provided heaps of information and was well-paced. We were pretty comfortable the whole time,despite the range of transport and loads of traveling. The accommodation provided was better than we expected for the price. The highlights for us were the felucca, the donkey ride to/ and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Abu Simbel and the Pyramids/Sphinx. We also went on our own in a taxi to the Kahn El Kahlili markets (a very full-on experience but really good!!) The level of attention on this tour was superb;being collected from the airport and having our luggage carried made everything so easy when we first arrived. We were taken to the airport at 2 in the morning by Simon who saw us through customs and everything...this is so helpful and truly wonderful. Simon was our second person of most contact and he was excellent. The tour was such good value for money! Thank you for such a wonderful tour that we absolutely loved. Next year, we are considering the Go Bus Trans-Mongolian tour from Moscow to Beijing. Once again, it our pleasure to write to you about our amazing trip and say thank you to the GoBus Team, especially Abdoal. Simon and Alladin were also wonderful.
