I have had the trip of a life time. I just wanted to let you all know at Gobus what a great trip I have just returned from in Egypt. Everyone involved was fantastic. The guys in Egypt are some of the nicest and funniest people I have ever come across in my travels. The first part of the trip was extraordinary, seeing all the incredible historic sights seemed almost unreal. I loved going into the tombs in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor and the Temple of Abu Simbel was out of this world. The felucca trip was far more enjoyable than I expected it to be, that was the best part of the tour, that was when all the group really started to bond and I made some really good friends I will have for the rest of my life.
But it wasn't over there. Then we went to one of the most wonderful places I have ever had the pleasure of travelling to - Dahab. Dahab was the best way to end the tour. After taking in so much history in the first week it was so nice to relax and unwind in this little laid back beach town. The Blue Hole was incredible and Mount Sinai was an experience I will never forget. Thankyou to Willy and Wally in Dahab. These guys were always there for us if we needed them and went out of their way to make sure we were all safe and happy. Thanks guys.
Anyway, I could go on for pages. Thank you everybody and keep up the good work.

Pyramids and Beaches - June 10
I have just returned from doing the Pyramids and Beaches tour in Egypt with Gobus and just wanted to write to you guys and let you know what a wonderful time my girlfriend and I had. Egypt is an extraordinary country with so much to offer travellers in search of history and amazing sights. All my life I have wanted to travel to Egypt and now that I have finally had the chance I want to do it all again. Everyone in Egypt working for Gobus were brilliant.
We were met by Khalifa at the airport and he helped us avoid all the hassle and confusion and got us to the hotel with minimal fuss and no stress. We were then met by Ayman who I must say is one of the friendliest and kindest gentlemen I have ever come across. These two guys looked after us so well and all the staff at the hotel were so welcoming, especially Mr. Farouk who by the end of the tour felt like a friend to me. And then there was our guide Ahmed Hussein or Tito as he went by was magnificent. I have never had such a professional, funny and down to Earth guide as Tito and I have been travelling for some time and have done quite a few group tours.
Having done a few tours I know what to expect but this tour blew me away. I have never come across such a well organised and friendly tour company as Gobus. You guys went above and beyond every expectation I could have possibly had. I will be recommending you to all my friends and am already planning my next Gobus adventure to Croatia. Thank you everybody involved and especially my new Egyptian friends, you guys were outstanding.

I was so happy with my whole tour, it exceeded all my expectations all together. Our guide, Ahmed, was amazing as was the felucca crew and pretty much everyone we met in Egypt. I love the Egyptian people and will be coming back. Thanks Gobus.

Hassan was a fantastic tour leader - his wealth of knowledge and willingness to share it made the trip. Organising late check outs and extra rooms to shower etc really made the trip more enjoyable and comfortable. My favourite part of the holiday was the felucca boat trip.

Our hotel was nice to relax by the pool with nice service from the hotel and food and drinks. Thank you Wiilly for taking us out to different places for dinner, organising our Blue hole adventure and horse riding. Thank you also for a great night at the tree house and for taking nick to watch the AFL football finals at teh place down the road. Willy knows the best places to eat and chillout which makes our stay here even more relaxed!! Willy you're a legend!! Cheers Mate!!

I loved the tour! Momo is an excellent guide, he's very knowledgable, helpful and surprised us with free donkey rides and lunches. Momo knew Egyptian history better than the other tour guides and was always friendly and organised. The highlight of the journey for me was the camel ride with the pyramids in the background.

Never done a tour before - am usually 'anti-tour' and backpack independently. Decided to do a tour in Egypt because I wanted to learn about the history of Egypt. Probably won't do a tour again because I enjoy independant travel, but absolutely loved this one. Fulfilled all my needs and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Dear Gobus,
My partner and I recently returned home to New Zealand after a wonderful 7 month trip through the Middle East and America.
One of the biggest highlights was our two weeks with Gobus in Egypt. We had an amazing time there, and really must put it all down to the fantastic effort of our two guides Ahmed (our Egyptologist for the pyramids section), and Wally (for our time in Dahab). These two guys really made the trip.
Ahmed, with his expansive knowledge of Egypt’s history, and absolute enthusiasm when retelling myths and histories alike. He went out of his way to ensure that everything went smoothly for our group, and that we all enjoyed our experience. If we changed our minds, he changes our plans to suit.
And Wally, well what can we say? He is simply a fantastic guy who makes things happen in Dahab! Whatever we needed, Wally would make sure we got it. He took great care to ensure that we were always in good hands, and gave us access to everything that is fun in Dahab – and always with that great Wally laugh.
Anyway, we just wanted say thanks to both of them, and make sure you guys know how good these two members of staff are. I’ve already recommended this tour to a number of friends (who’ve since booked), because of the great time we had with these tour guides.

Dear GoBus and team,
Following returning home from my long vacation overseas, I spent a total of 6 weeks abroad, but the most exciting time was greatly enjoyed with the GoBus/On the Go team in Egypt.
These guys are absolutely fantastic to their clients – team effort is first class with them all…
They’re a great team who splendidly welcomes you to Cairo from the time you arrive and until you leave. For instance, I was met at the airport at 0125 hrs in the morning, fast track through customs to the hotel, and then the next morning we were on our way to experience Egypt. This was absolutely fantastic, the whole time with our tour guides was first class, all the way to Jordon these guys were always there for you, when some of us transferred from one country to another, everything thing went without any problems occurring, especially observing difficulties with other travellers etc.
When I returned to Cairo I had two extra days to enjoy Cairo, but without any hesitation I was soon on my way to Alexandria, this was something I wanted to do as an extra, but these guys made it all happen without any hassle and it was made affordable for me to do as well. This goes to shows the willingness of these guys in helping you along so that you enjoy your time with them..
Sadly the country standard of living is well below Australian standards, but the acceptance of Australian’s holidaying in Egypt was absolutely tremendous, something well worthwhile experiencing, the whole time spent in Egypt and Jordon also with the concern of loosing one’s own personal belongings, getting food poisoning as well, but during the whole time especially in the midst of their summer heat I went without any medical problems occurring whilst travelling there, since returning to Australia I’ve managed to stay totally free of any stomach viruses and the H1N1 Swine Flu.
I consider my vacation was most spectacular for our fantastic group as we all greatly enjoyed our time with this team of great guys and the friendly Egyptians as well...
I will highly recommend your company, especially Egypt tour to many of my friends as the most ideal holiday location to go and visit, it was an experience of an life time for me and others on this tour.
Special thanks and acknowledgement to Ayman Wadaa in Cairo, who met me at the airport and also arranged extra tours at the end of my stay in Cairo, Ayman farewelled me at the airport; this is their dedication to their clients. This is first class service for a budget holiday company. Thanks guys for making this a wonderful holiday for me and the others on my tour.

I think Ahmed Saheed is a great credit to GOBUS, he took a mountain of info and somehow compacted it into an understandable processable amount of info, he has inspired me to learn more about Egypt and I feel my tour would not have meant as much without him! Overall a great trip.
