WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE TRAVEL ON GOBUS?
GOBUS travellers are generally aged 18-35, but we welcome people of all ages! IS IT OKAY IF I TRAVEL ALONE?
Yes! We have a lot of single travellers on our tours and it's a great way to meet new friends. We will match you up with the same sex traveller where we can so no pesky single supplements need apply.

HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BUDGET FOR?
Accommodation - this is included in the cost of your GOBUS tour. Food - breakfast is included every day, and all meals aboard felucca. We recommend a daily budget of USD $40 - USD $70 per day including tipping kitty and entrance fees, but of course this depends on how much you want to eat, drink and see!

WHAT SHALL I BRING?
Most international airlines limit you to 20kgs. Pack a backpack/rucksack with summer clothing, something warmer for the evenings and warmer clothing if visiting between December-February (when temperatures are lower in Cairo, particularly at night time). Comfortable sandals or trainers are recommended, and a sleeping bag is essential for the felucca cruise. Definitely bring your camera and a fun attitude!

WHEN & HOW SHOULD I BOOK MY GOBUS TOUR?
Egypt is a destination that can be visited year-round. Popular departures are Christmas/New Year, Easter, Bank and school holidays when lots of teachers & students travel with GOBUS! The golden rule is to book early to guarantee your place. Flight availability is sought after at these times, so if considering a cool Yule or Easter escapade with us then source your flights to Egypt early and book your tour place as soon as possible! ARE MY FLiGHTS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
No flights aren't included in the price because we have travellers from all over the world on our GOBUS tours. You can however book your international flights through us if you are travelling from the UK, just contact our reservations team for a quote.

Do I get airport transfers?
Yes, you sure do! All GOBUS travellers get arrival 'Meet & Greet' and departure transfers in Egypt so all you need to do is advise us of your arrival & departure flights and we will do the rest. There are oodles of flights in and out of Cairo everyday and night as the airport is open 24/7, so choose your fights carefully because if you are arriving at 02.45 on Day-1 (or at an equally unsociable time) you will most likely be required to purchase accommodation for the night before. Remember that a cheap flight might not necessarily work out to be the best deal once you add on additional accommodation!
