St Patrick's Day
On March 17th Irish culture and tradition abound as Dublin becomes a sea of green and the Paddies welcome all who come to celebrate with them. You’ll be dazzled by the myriad of wild and wonderful costumes in the parade and the St Patrick’s Day festival also includes a treasure hunt, comedy, dancing, fireworks, concerts and much celebration. The Irish really do know how to celebrate in style, so come and join in the craic! |
St Paddies day 2010 has come and gone. We will be running tours in 2011 and the itinerary will be very similar to what is below, so please keep checking back!

Monday 15th March
Tuesday 16th March Today we have a group session at the famous Guinness Brewery for the afternoon where included in your tour price is the admission, the self-guided tour of the brewery and some complimentary Guinness! Alternatively, we are offering an optional day excursion to Belfast.
Of course if you prefer, you are free to do your own thing throughout the day. You may like to take in a local tour of Dublin, or pass the time with a spot of shopping down Grafton Street. This evening we will head out to the Temple Bar area to sample more of the famous Dublin nightlife and hospitality.
Wednesday 17th March St Patrick's Day! Enjoy the colour and spectacle of the day as the St Patrick's parade snakes its way through the streets of Dublin, or just sit in one of the friendly pubs and get into the Guinness with a bunch of locals! This is the biggest day of the tour and you are free to enjoy it as you wish. We'll provide maps and information on the festival program and concerts so you can take in whatever appeals to your tastes.
Thursday 18th March All good things come to an end and today the St Patrick's Day experience is all over. Check out of the hostel is any time up until 10am. The hostel has a baggage storage room you can use if you are not leaving Dublin until later in the day. See you at the reunion!
Fancy a day trip to belfast?As an optional excursion you can choose to take a day trip to Northern Ireland and the city of Belfast via the St. Patrick's Centre in Downpatrick. The return transport and entrance to the St. Patrick's Centre (incl. an interactive cinematic display) is included in the day trip price of £15. Once in Belfast you will have a few hours in which to take in the famous Black Taxi tour of the city or simply explore the city at your leisure.
